Some big names in tenpin bowling are taking part in the world’s first combination string and free-fall bowling tournament.

The QubicaAMR Some Strings Attached Invitational, will be played at the HeadPinz Entertainment Center, Naples, Florida, US, on Saturday.
It will be played using 16 lanes, eight equipped with the Edge String Pinspotters and eight with free-fall technology. Television coverage has been planned for the big event.
Among the competitors will be Walter Ray Williams Jnr, the biggest-prizewinner in history with 47 PBA Tour and 14 PBA50 Tour titles; Norm Duke with 40 PBA Tour titles; Amleto Monacelli from Venezuela with 20 titles; Jason Couch with 16 titles; and several other world-leading players.
Participation is limited to only 48 players, all by invitation, competing for a prize of $5,000 and a total prize und of $15,000.
