The Big Banana Fun Park, a historic amusement park in Coffs Harbour, Australia, has added an axe throwing attraction as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.
Its newest attraction uses the Champ Throw system, offering players four lanes with moving digital targets and a variety of games to play. The system is housed in its own cabinet and can link with a mobile application to allow players to create their own profiles and avatars that will be represented on the game.
Big Banana says that the new attraction will add to its night time offering, complementing its existing escape room and laser tag attractions.
Company CEO Michael Lockman said: “This new attraction underscores our commitment to innovation and providing unique entertainment options for all ages. It's not just about throwing axes; it's about creating memorable moments and new ways to engage and excite our guests.
“While traditional Axe Throwing is expected to be the most popular option at our new attraction, we are excited to be able to provide an option for our younger guests with the innovative soft Velcro axes.”
