Bay Tek Games has launched Prize Hub Live, an online portal that allows operators to analyse and manage their Prize Hub units from anywhere in real time via a computer or mobile device.

Operators can check inventory, change ticket prices and upload prize images and quantities remotely, as opposed to having to service the Prize Hub unit on-location. This added convenience works well for limited time promotions or updating missing or incorrect prize images and/or ticket values.
“One of the main appeals of Prize Hub is its ease of use. It’s a self-contained prize counter, meaning no attendant is necessary, so it should be easy to maintain,” said Rick Hallet, product development manager at Bay Tek. “The Prize Hub Live software really brings that notion of convenience and simplicity to a whole new level.”
The software has more functions than just updating images and ticket values. Multiple users can be configured with Live to have different permissions based on functional needs or security purposes. Those users are able to learn about issues before they become bigger problems via text alerts or emails. The diagnostics feature can be used to test a printer, vend prizes and monitor status remotely. The history feature logs data and can be checked in real time. That data can be sorted to display prize vends and failures.
Operators wanting to set up their Live account can contact Bay Tek and provide their Prize Hub serial number. They will then be provided a login and temporary password to access the Live portal. All Prize Hubs shipping out of Bay Tek going forward will be set-up with Live software capability. To enable Live on an existing Prize Hub unit, a SATA drive can be purchased by contacting Bay Tek’s service department. The Prize Hub must be connected online via a customer supplied internet connection to take advantage of the Live features.
