BACTA's ACOS event is set for October 19 and 20 at the ILEC Conference Centre at Earls Court. BACTA will have its own lounge at the show and will present its portal with new features. They include age verification, in which members will be able to record the details of any AV tests that their staff carry out. Staff will also be able to input details of any difficulty experienced.

The details of the AV tests will be available through the reporting suite, affording information to operators that will support their annual Gambling Commission reporting.

There will also be Crime Alert, in which a number of events such as machine damage or violence towards staff can be logged. Operators can advise other members in their local area if there is an issue of immediate concern.

The Digital Toolkit will arrive later in October, allowing operators to record activity such as fire, cleaning and toilet checks, payouts, machine servicing visits and statutory visits.
