BACTA, organiser of the EAG Expo taking place at ExCel in London next January, is continuing to build the event's international status by confirming an agreement with the American Amusement Machine Association.
The two trade associations have agreed a schedule of promotional activities and an exchange of stand space that will bring the organisations closer together and help promote the trade shows around the world.
Martin Burlin, chairman of EAG, said: "We are very pleased that we have been able to renew and strengthen a working relationship that has been in existence for as long as I have been involved in the London shows. Our two markets have many shared interests and none more so than helping our members develop their international business.
John Schultz, president of AAMA, added: "This is great news. Trade bodies in all industries need to pull together and do everything possible to help their members and build their businesses. I really hope to see this arrangement thrive and grow and that in future we will be talking about export and buyer delegations that will really have an impact on transatlantic trade."
