A venue featuring competitive socialising is to open this month at Stevenage Leisure Park, in Hertfordshire, England.

The Boom Battle Bar will open at the former Bar & Beyond site and offer activities including axe throwing and shuffleboard, reports The Comet. The venue is also set to offer curling, boules, pool, table tennis, AR darts and mini-golf.
Planning permission for change of use has been granted by Stevenage Borough Council, allowing Boom Battle Bar to offer indoor leisure activities. The Boom Battle Bar application states: “We are the nation’s largest provider of competitive socialising, with a range of activities suitable for every member of the family.”
The venue is marketed primarily at families, with an adults-only presence after 7pm.
Boom Battle Bar has more than 25 venues across the country, including one in Watford.
