There were awards for major Middle East operator Al Othaim for its Saffori Land family entertainment centres at the 2017 Middle East and North Africa Shopping Centre and Retailer Awards.
In the photograph, Al Othaim’s vice-chairman Fahad Al-Othaim is seen holding the gold award in the sector for retail excellence at its Saffori Land FECs. The awards were made during the gala dinner at the Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre, as part of the ReCON trade show, supported by the MENASC.
The award was for the group’s Saffori Land in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The company also won a silver award in the design and development excellence, retail store design, sector for its Xtremeland FEC in Doha, Qatar.
A similar silver award was also won by the other big Saudi Arabian FEC operator Al Hokair for its Al Hokair Time location in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
