With English arcades all set to open tomorrow, the seaside resort operators are anticipating that they will get at least some of the season.
The latest news from Scotland, however, is that the hoped-for July 15 reopening of the tourism sector would include arcades, but it is now likely that there will be no news of a reopening before the next official update on July 9. It may be that arcades in Scotland will not open before July 23.
The Welsh operators have had no news at all about when they may reopen. It is believed by trade association BACTA that tourism may get some relief from the middle of July, although there has been no mention of arcades. Again, July 9 is the next update.
