A new arcade bar concept is being opened at Short Pump, at Richmond, Virginia, US.

According to Richmond Bizsense, the Funny Bone Comedy Club at the centre of Short Pump is creating an entertainment venue called DraftCade. The arcade-bar concept is in the former Children’s Museum and will be attached to the comedy club.
DraftCade will be the third in a series of similar bar-arcades, both in the US, at Kansas City and Toledo, both attached to a comedy club, which creators Todd Leinenbach and Blake Blessinger, who own 18 comedy clubs across the US, feel is a natural fit.
The work on Funny Bone will see its seating capacity rise from 275 to 400. Between them, the reconstructed Funny Bone and the DraftCade will take up 15,000sq.ft at the Short Pump shopping mall.
The DraftCade will have 60 video games, ten pinballs and six Skeeball games, plus two basketball games. There will be a full food menu and over 60 craft beers on tap.
