Industry veteran and founder of Apple Industries, Allen Weisberg, has been honoured by the American Amusement Machine Association.

Allen Weisberg

Weisberg was the winner of the AAMA’s 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award, which he said gives him “an immense sense of pride.”

It is a longstanding tradition in the industry that winners raise money for children’s charities and Weisberg has chosen to support Sunrise Association, which provides camps to children with cancer and their families; Lurie Children’s Hospital and KEEN, which works to empower youths with disabilities.

Weisberg said: “These remarkable organisations are dedicated to providing support, joy, and empowerment to children and their families. Throughout my career, I have always been deeply involved in the industry's fundraising process, tirelessly working to establish partnerships with these charitable organisations.

“Together, we have raised millions of dollars over the years, making a tangible difference in the lives of children who need it most.”

Anyone wanting to support Weisberg in his fundraising venture can do so by purchasing an advert to commemorate his achievement through Ad Journal.
