US photo booth manufacturer Apple Industries plans to release seven brand new parody magazine covers from its ever-growing in-house library.
The free software upgrade is in DVD form and can be uploaded onto any existing Magazine Me photo booth currently on location. The new magazine covers are: Auto Driver, Bride Monster, Nineteen, Pop Star, Princess, Super Hero and Wizard.
According to sales director Mel LaForce: "Our free upgrades are a service Apple will always provide to its customers. It will keep our photo booths fresh, relevant and vibrant."
The new magazine covers have been purposely created to increase Magazine Me’s revenue by widening its appeal to a more youthful audience. "What we’re finding is that by offering a wide selection of parody covers and now increasing the number of youth oriented covers that the revenue is increasing."
Magazine Me is currently available in two cabinet styles. The larger cabinet is called Magazine Me and is positioned for heavily trafficked locations like malls, bowling centres, roller rinks, resorts and large FECs. The smaller cabinet style, called Magazine Me Mini, encompasses the same hardware and software as the larger version, but is scaled down for smaller locations like bars and restaurants.
