A UK amusement park has sounded alarm bells about the impact of rising energy costs on entertainment venues.

Gulliver's Kingdom

Gulliver’s Kindom, located in Matlock Bath, UK, is part of the Gulliver’s family of parks and says that the group’s bills have more than doubled to over £1m over recent months.

Its managing director, Julie Dalton, told the Derby Telegraph, that costs have risen considerably over recent times.

She said that, when combined with other cost of living increases like fuel and food, it has meant that the business has had to look at its operations to ensure it is as efficient as possible.

Despite the rising costs, she said the company has not yet had to pass these costs on to the customer.
