The giant Al Hokair Group, which runs one of the Middle East’s largest chains of family entertainment centres under the brand name Sparky’s, is planning a huge new location in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
Al Hokair has teamed up with local FEC specialist Michel Koborsi, who launched and until recently ran the huge Gondolania FEC at Doha’s Villaggio Mall, for the new Sparky’s project. It will cover 7,000sq.m and will be contained within a new mall in the city.
Koborsi is project managing the location for Al Hokair and it will be the largest Sparky’s ever built.
“Qatar is booming now,” said Koborsi. “It still has a lot of potential for more FECs before it is really mature.”
