An adventure park in California, US, known for its ziplines and nature tours, has diversified its offering with the opening of a new escape room.
Margarita Adventures, located in San Luis Obispo County, has added the space-themed room. In it, players are transported aboard an intergalactic research vessel and must solve a number of puzzles to fix the ship before time runs out.
Players are given an hour to break out of the Renegade: The Retrofit, which features a high level of theming and interactivity. The room features around 200 interactive buttons, as well as secret doors, LED lighting and a number of monitors.
It follows the company’s first escape room, Rita’s Relics, which opened in 2022 to offer an alternative attraction when poor weather hits. The new room opened to the public on October 4.
