Activate, the active gaming company, is to open a new venue in Southlake, Texas.
Due to open on April 12, the new venue will join the 10-strong lineup of Activate venues across the US, which have attracted more than 2.5 million players worldwide.
Groups of between two and five players can challenge each other, tracking progress through the games using Activate’s RFID wristband.
Games will include the Mega Grid, which feature more than 500 rainbow-coloured tiles, a technicoloured Hoops Court and a digital dodgeball revamp called Strike.
Will Gray, director of marketing at Activate/Breakout Games, said: “We’re thrilled to open our second Activate location in Dallas-Fort Worth. As we expand our immersive experiences across the US, Southlake is the perfect place for us to invite new players into the dynamic world of Activate. The experience is like no other and we look forward to entering this fantastic new market.”
