Theo Sanders has been named as LAI Games’ new CEO based at the company’s head office in Singapore.
Following a restructuring of the company’s senior management, which saw Marshall Ashdown step down as CEO to take on the new role of international sales director based in the UK, Sanders was identified as the “stand out” candidate for the vacant position.
Although new to the coin-op industry, Sanders has extensive experience in the consumer and online games industry, having recently served as lead producer and general manager at Ubisoft in Singapore. Prior to that, he was global director of products at Razer, where he managed industrial design, product development and technology teams.
“Apart from his extensive business experience, I believe Theo will be a perfect fit for the LAI Group and I look forward to the great contribution he can make,” said LAI Group director Adam Steinberg. "Over the coming months, Theo will be attempting to take in as much information as he can and travelling around the world to meet with staff and customers so that he can formulate new plans to take the business forward.”
