One of the Middle East’s most iconic brand names is expanding. Magic Planet, the chain of family entertainment centres operated by Magid Al Futtaim Leisure and Entertainment in the United Arab Emirates, is expanding from 13 to 16 stores.
The new stores include two new countries for the group. This month, a Magic Planet will open in Amman, Jordan – the company’s first venture into the country – and a store will also open in Beirut, Lebanon, another fresh territory for MAF Leisure. The third will be another Egyptian Magic Planet, this time at Festival City in Cairo, and will open in June.
More on the activities of MAF Leisure, including news of another new real-snow ski destination, similar to that operated at the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, will appear in our Middle East Special Issue of InterGame in April.
