Federal and provincial funding for an upcoming multi-purpose recreation facility in Martensville, Canada, has amounted to over $30m.

The facility, which will cost $44m in total, will feature an indoor climbing wall and playground, along with two ice rings, says CDC News.

The federal government and the province are contributing $18m and $15m respectively, with the city of Martensville left to find the remaining amount of $11m

The rec centre is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024.
