Attractions on the Brighton seafront are set to be transformed into a modern day entertainment hub, bringing the spirit of the former West Pier into the future.

One of the strategies involves a reimagining of the Brighton i360 tower, adding the opportunity for visitors to walk on top of the pod, a new "games bar" inside the tower, immersive experiences melding theatre with F&B delights and a number of premium street food stands.

The West Beach bar and restaurant, part of the i360, is now set to become an immersive, state-of-the-art Sixes Social Cricket venue as part of the transformation strategy.

Julia Barfield, chair of Brighton i360, said: “Our vision for Brighton i360 is to create a 21st century beachside entertainment hub – a modern day West Pier – offering our visitors an exciting mix of world-class attractions, entertainment, eating and drinking options.

“Sixes will add to the ever-popular Brighton i360 observation tower, the Nyetimber Sky Bar and the adrenaline-fuelled Extreme 360 activities"

Calum Mackinnon, co-founder of Sixes, said: “We have always dreamed about having a Sixes on the beach and our new location at Brighton i360 gives us just that.”

Sixes will also contribute three converted shipping containers to extend gameplay onto the beach between June and September.
