The park will feature interconnected trampolines, an inflatable obstacle course, six climbing challenges, an interactive sports pitch and a giant UV airbag.

Steve Wilson, managing director of Oxygen Activity Parks, told echo-news.com: “We are hugely excited to bring our Oxygen magic to the people of Rayleigh this summer. Oxygen currently has 12 sites nationwide, with each and every one of them moving the dial on what consumers can expect from an indoor leisure park, and Rayleigh will be no exception.”

“Building on the great success of Base Jump, this significant investment is a huge commitment to ensuring a unique and fresh experience for the community of Rayleigh and South Essex.”

The new park will have facilities for freejumping and ninja challenges, with the capacity for personalised birthday parties. There will also be a soft play area and "structured" toddler sensory play sessions for younger visitors as well as a café for parehts.

Oxygen Rayleigh will open July 19.
