This month’s IAAPA Attractions Expo was “possibly a turning point” for the amusement industry, according to John Brennan, commercial director at Bandai Namco.

Bandai Namco unveiled its new Star Wars Battle Pod game at the show in Orlando, Florida, alongside the new redemption game Sink the Ship, video title Lost Land of Adventure and the new Jurassic Park game.

It also announced its new distribution relationship with Adrenaline Amusements, with the latter previewing its Candy Crush games in both prize and ticket formats.

“The overall reception to our display was amazingly strong – even by IAAPA standards,” said Brennan. We felt the show was possibly a turning point for the industry at large because of the optimism and refreshingly high level of interest from all who attended.

“We welcomed visitors from all over the world and found numbers of UK and European customers higher than in previous years.”
