The 7th Street Slayers (pictured) are said to be veterans of the Big Buck World Championship competitive community, based in the US state of Minnesota.

The funds were raised during the second annual "Buckers Without Borders Battle", or BWOB, held at Plums Neighborhood Grill and Bar, located in the Minnesota city of Saint Paul. The BYOB tournament has the "ultimate purpose" of raising money for Partnership Resources, which serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

BYOB 2023 featured a "32-player, double-elimination bracket across three Big Buck Hunter: Reloaded games," with players heralding from the US states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine and Florida, as well as from Canada.

Amy Green of the 7th Street Slayers said: “We are overwhelmed by the support of the Big Buck Hunter community. It is humbling that so many of our friends took their time and hard-earned money to travel across the country to back us in the sophomore year of our charity tournament.

"Working together is what Buckers Without Borders is about. One hand can only reach so far - together we can do so much more, and this weekend Buckers Without Borders proved that… 10,000 times. It's about heart, and this community has it in spades.”

Play Mechanix, the 7th Street Slayers and Partnership Resources each expressed their thanks for the players and spectators of BYOB who made the event so successful.
