Indian operator expands into game development.


SMAAASH, India’s acclaimed brand, is an entertainment centre chain that has started including its own products in its offering.

One of these games involves a customer being able to draw a rollercoaster track on a touchscreen and create as many loops or winding patterns as they like. This track is then digitally built by the system, after which the customer puts on their virtual reality headset, sits on the site’s rollercoaster seats, which are mounted on a six degrees-of-freedom platform, and enjoys the track their imagination has created. This is only one of the activities that the company offers.
