Activities which were once aimed at children have now become part of the mainstream entertainment market for adults, writes Mike Dawber.

Grown-up games

There was a time when playing games was for kids. If adults wanted to enjoy playing a game on a night out, then it was most likely a quick game of pool or darts between drinks in the bar.

If they fancied something a bit more strenuous, then it was a game of football, golf or maybe a workout at the gym and then maybe out for a drink afterwards if there was any socialising to be done.
