The interactive attractions manufacturer Alterface held a press event in Brussels, Belgium, to unveil its latest ride. Ian Donegan went along to see what all the fuss is about.

AMONG the media professionals that attended AlterFace’s press event at Walibi, Belgium, marking the launch of its latest creation, Popcorn Revenge, was Lawrence Roots, the editor of Themepark.eu, a website aimed at theme park consumers.
It wasn’t unusual for him to be attending the opening of a ride at a theme park, that’s par for the course; what was odd was that this was the first time he had ever attended an opening that had been organised by the manufacturer of the ride, rather than the park itself.
