THOMAS has been manufacturing change machines for more than 40 years and, with over 40,000 worldwide in current use, the chances are there is one not far from where you’re sat. Used in car parks, service stations, shopping centres and train stations, the company has set the standard for the medium over the years and become a strong, recognisable brand in the world of coins and banknotes through to chip and pin, contactless and mobile payments, aiming to process any customer’s preferred choice of payment.
The company was acquired by Eurocoin in 2010 and integrated Playsafe Systems in 2015. Since then, it has undergone a major revamp in what is a relatively short space of time.
