The World Series of Poker 2025 will be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, running from Friday March 14 to Saturday March 22, at Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum.
“The players have shown that they deserve a second Circuit event in the Netherlands,” declared Gregory Chochon, COO of the WSOP. “We are excited to bring the World Series of Poker to Amsterdam. Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum is an excellent location in a beautiful city. We expect a great turnout.”
The annual WSOP event in Venlo will also remain on the programme.
With the arrival of the WSOP in Amsterdam Centrum, the collaboration with the WPT ends. This means that 2024 was the last WPT Prime event in Amsterdam. The WPT and Holland Casino have decided in good consultation to end the collaboration.
Director gaming and services, Pieter Boers said: “With the WSOP, we have succeeded in bringing another strong international poker brand to Holland Casino Amsterdam Centrum. I think we will make all poker-loving Netherlands very happy with this.”
Last week it was announced that the World Series of Poker brand had been sold to NSUS Group for US$500m.
