Francisco Olea of the Pascua Yaqui tribe has become the new regional director covering the Phoenix region of the US for the National Indian Gaming Commission.

He took up his responsibilities on July 8 from previous director, Lance Vallo.
Olea will take care of technical assistance, training and compliance at 59 Indian gaming facilities owned and operated by 49 federally recognised tribes located in Arizon, New Mexico, Nevada and Colorado.
Olea has worked in tribal regulatory agencies and casino operations.
