International Game Technology has selected TransAct Technologies' Epic 950 printer as the default ticket-in ticket-out printer for all of its new games. The term of the default status will begin immediately and last until June 2010.

"This is an historic win for TransAct and it comes just as we believe the upgrade cycle for server-based gaming is about to begin," said TransAct president and CEO. Bart Shuldman.

TransAct’s Epic 950 combines ground-breaking marketing capabilities, sophisticated technical advances and robust engineering in a single printer.

Eurocoin, which is the exclusive distributor for TransAct Technologies in Europe and Africa, has sold more than 50,000 Epic 950 printers to clients in the region.
