The Star Entertainment Group has appointed Frank Krile as its new group chief financial officer, subject to regulatory approvals.

Krile has extensive experience as a senior finance leader with Lendlease spanning nearly 20 years including as group chief risk officer and group deputy chief financial officer.

He will commence with The Star immediately. Interim group chief financial officer, Neale O’Connell will continue in his role until March 28, 2025 and assist in an orderly transition over the coming months.

“The Star Board thanks Mr O’Connell for his contribution to The Star and wishes him well for the future,” the company said.

In addition, Kate Williams who was proposed deputy company secretary in July, has resigned and will not be appointed. Jennie Yuen continues as company secretary and remains the person responsible for communication with the ASX.
