The gross gaming revenue from Chile’s 25 land-based casinos reached CLP145.2bn (US$153.9m) in the quarter ending March 31, 2025, a 3.7 per cent dip in real terms year-on-year.

Taxes generated reached CLP52bn ($55.1m), a decrease of 3.4 per cent year-on-year. This comprises CLP22.4bn ($23.7m) from specific tax on gambling, CLP82.3bn ($22.9m) from VAT and CLP8m ($8,475) from tax on entrance to gambling halls.

A total of 1,788,3276 visitor entries to the casinos were recorded for the quarter, a year-on-year decrease of 3.7 per cent.

Through the quarter, casinos contributed a total of CLP20.6bn ($21.8) to municipalities in economic contributions.
