Several major foreign investors have scheduled meetings with Thai officials over investing in the government's entertainment complex project, according to reports.

MGM Resorts International and Wynn Resorts have reportedly already been in discussions to gauge their interest in pursuing Thai casino licences. Talks with other investors, from a variety of sectors, are expected to take place soon.
"We are now signalling clearly that we are open to discussions with investors, especially as we move forward with drafting legislation and seek to attract over THB100bn (£2.3bn) in investment," said deputy finance minister Julapun Amornvivat, according to the Bangkok Post.
