Takara Gaming Group, a pioneer in gaming platform technology, has signed a gaming machine operation agreement with Futro Group at Majestar Casino, the biggest Korean casino on Jeju island.
This latest venture has opened up the market for TGG and its game manufacturers to participate in the highly regulated Asian gaming market. The partnership is also expanding the brand recognition in the region.
The co-founder and CEO of TGG, Raymond Chan, said: “Korea is a fundamental market place for Asian gaming and to see our product deploying there in the second half of 2017 is such a great reward for the contribution we have made as part of our market-led strategic management.”
Jeju island has been chosen as one of the new Seven Wonders of Nature in Korea. The casino covers over 3,0oosq.m and contains dynamic games such as baccarat, blackjack, roulette and slot machines.
TGG is the creator of Hiro, the industry’s first open-source Linux platform designed primarily for electronic gaming machines. Casino operators, game designers and manufacturers can build games using TGG’s GLI-11 certified open platform with a distribution network in over 10 countries and gaming jurisdictions worldwide.
