Initial feedback from last month's Australasian Gaming Expo has, according to the organiser, been extremely positive, with exhibitors encouraged by the attendance of quality buyers during the show at Sydney's Darling Harbour.

Just under 10,000 visitors attended the three-day exhibition and conference and while the numbers were slightly down on last year’s event, this did not come as a surprise due to the current global and local economic downturn.

Ross Ferrar, chief executive of the organiser, Gaming Technologies Association, said: "We are pleased that exhibitors received strong sales leads from this year’s event. And, visitors to the trade show also enjoyed the conference and networking opportunities to catch up with their industry peers and colleagues."
