Atronic's Stargate SG-1 video slot, based on the popular movie and TV franchise, is now installed in eight casinos in France.
In partnership with its distributor Ludi, the German manufacturer first introduced a bank of machines to Hotel Casino Barrière de Lille in northern France last spring and, following its initial success, the game has now been installed at Gujan-Mestras, Les Sables d’Olonne-Les Pins, Amnéville, Cannes-Croisette, St Jean de Monts, Chatelaillion and St Julien En Genevois.
"As soon as we were presented with this concept, we were immediately convinced, although we hadn’t initially budgeted for it," sad Emilie Soulard, communication manager for Casino Gujan-Mestras. "This product fitted our marketing strategy perfectly, because it’s unique and innovative. As soon as the product went live, we were entirely satisfied."
Recently, the Tranchant Group, which operates the Amnéville casino, decided to order additional banks of Stargate-SG1. Following installations in its Les Pins and Sables d’Olonne properties, the JOA Groupe is also expected to roll out the concept to its other casinos.
