The arcade classic Space Invaders has made a return as a licensed product for slot machines under the stewardship of Scientific Games Corporation of Las Vegas.
The game has a skill-based bonus feature and is housed in a Blade s32 cabinet. Space Invaders is a six-reel, 60-line slot and its bonuses include free games as well as the traditional alien-shooter feature.
Alternatively, players can bypass the base slot game and instigate Buy a Bonus, taking them directly to the Space Invaders higher credit win levels. So far the game has only been made available in New Jersey, US, but will shortly be marketed throughout North America.
