Elaine Campbell, formerly the head of compliance monitoring at the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority, will begin the post in March 2025.

She joins casino operator SkyCity from Chorus Limited, where she has been executive general manager – Fibre Access since February this year. Before that, she was chief corporate officer and general counsel, and general counsel and company secretary.

SkyCity CEO Jason Walbridge said: “Elaine is a highly respected executive with a proven track record. I’m delighted she is joining the SkyCity team.”

As a result of the transition, SkyCity’s current chief corporate affairs officer, Nirupa George, will no longer meet the NSX’s definition of a senior manager, and will take parental leave from January.

However, SkyCity confirmed George will continue to lead SkyCity’s corporate affairs activities, including government, community and industry stakeholder relations – and SkyCity’s public policy and advocacy.
