Following months of designing and testing, Dutch signage specialist Signs4U has unveiled its new Ultra Thin Gaming Sign.

The company’s engineers have succeeded in developing a unique process to reduce the housing of a casino sign to only 2cm. Together with an ultra thin LED screen, the total thickness of this sign is only 7cm.

Martin Spies, Signs4U CEO, said: "This complete new sign has the exact same exclusive look and identity as the signs we have already produce for years; the face of the sign remains exactly the same but the biggest surprise is the thickness and with only 2cm we have done an outstanding job in creating this complete new sign."

The acrylic artwork in the sign remains replaceable to enable casino operators to change the themes of these signs. The new process reduces the total cost of a sign substantially, while its weight is also reduced by 50 per cent to cut shipping costs.

Signs4U’s market research found that there is a requirement for thinner and more compact designs, particularly in the Spanish and Italian arcade and VLT markets.

"We already received many positive reactions from these areas and I am happy to say the first orders for this new sign are already signed," Spies continued. "More reasons to believe this will be a great addition to our extensive product catalogue."
