In memory of former chief executive officer Timothy Parrott, who sadly passed away in May, Shuffle Master has 'adopted' a local elementary school and donated $90,000 to provide resources and services through three local charitable organisations: the Public Education Foundation, Spread the Word Nevada and Three Square Food Bank.

"Tim was passionate about Shuffle Master and its employees giving back to the community and the Adopt-A-School concept is something he initiated months ago," said Phillip Peckman, chief executive of Shuffle Master. "We are pleased to positively impact the lives of over 800 children by providing time, resources and needed funds to Jack Dailey Elementary School.

The company’s partnership with the local organisations focuses on the various needs of Jack Dailey Elementary School. The students of the school received backpacks full of snacks, school supplies and books. When the children return to school in the autumn, Shuffle Master will organise several hands-on activities for its employees to help with the continued sponsorship of the school.
