Kevin Sheehan has quit Scientific Games’ board of directors four months after being replaced as CEO.

Sheehan, who was new to the gaming industry when he took over the company, was brought in as SG was still digesting a series of mergers that brought Bally, WMS and Shuffle Master under the firm's banner.

During his tenure the stock soared from around $8 to a high of $62.80 before slipping to $53.70 on May 2, the day SG announced Barry Cottle would replace Sheehan. The stock has continued to slide, closing at $26.40 on Tuesday. Viet Dinh also resigned from the board.
