The governor of the Russian region of Primorye, Sergey Darkin, has claimed that the gambling zone that is planned to be created on Russkiy Island will become an "anchor" for investors.
Darkin said that the region would be considered an entertainment attraction as well as a gambling attraction.
"As world practice shows, the modern gambling business is not only casinos and roulettes," he commented. "It is a highly developed infrastructure of entertainment, including family entertainment of various kinds."
