One year after opening the enormous Venetian in Macau, US operator Las Vegas Sands Corporation is celebrating the inauguration of its second Cotai Strip property: the Four Seasons Hotel Macau.
The opening of the new 360-room luxury hotel on August 27 coincided with the world premier of Cirque du Soleil’s Zaia show at the nearby Venetian.
The venue also includes several food and beverage offerings, a pool and garden area, and a variety of conference, banquet and business services and facilities.
"Today marks yet another significant milestone in the overall effort to transform Macau into an international leisure and business destination," said LVS chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson.
"The key to building a successful tourist destination is being able to assemble the critical mass of attractions needed to make the location more unique and compelling than its rival destinations. That is why we continue to add more and more important components, like luxury retail and world-class entertainment, to our Cotai Strip development."
