The Rank Group has announced that current managing director Jon Martin will be taking up the newly created role of chief operating officer.

The role, which Martin will start in the summer, will see him take the helm for the strategy and performance of Rank Interactive. He will also shoulder the responsibility for delivering Rank’s cross-channel customer experience and service for the Mecca and Grosvenor brands.

Rank has begun the process of finding Martin’s successor as managing director, a role based in Gibraltar.
