The growing influence of Advansys as a brand name to be considered carefully in the field of management systems for casinos, is taking the young Slovenia-based company into new territories - and some of the most prestigious.

In the past three months alone, Advansys has broken into the Macau market and made more inroads into the Balkans, where it is already influential. In each case the company’s modular system has been very successful.

The ability to install a base and then add to it more and more bolt-on functions building up to location-wide coverage of all aspects of slot management, is a strong selling point.

The Macau installation came in August with the arrival of Advansys’ SlotScanner accounting and cage and ticketing solutions for the Kam Pek Casino in Macau, owned by Paradise Entertainment and Lawrence Ho’s Sociedade de Juegos de Macau, one of the biggest names in casino operating.

For Advansys it was the culmination of several years of hard work in building the consummate system, successfully testing it and then launching it into a market that is notoriously slow to accept anything new.

In the same time-scale the company began a partnership with one of the most famous Bulgarian gaming companies, Casino Solutions, which has a network of Caesars casinos in prominent locations throughout Bulgaria. Caesars locations are noted for the cutting-edge technology products fresh from the leading producers such as EGT, Aristocrat, Novomatic and Casino Technology.

Basic modules of SlotScanner have gone into the Caesars locations with a multiplicity of other functions depending upon the site, but accounting and cage is predominant with player tracking also popular and of course jackpots, both progressive and mystery.

All four locations in the group, Makedonia, Maria Luisa, Pliska and Plovdiv, have been connected into a wide-area progressive, the first that Advansys has produced.

“We are very proud of our first installation of a wide-area progressive,” said Advansys sales and marketing director Janez Petkovsek. “The work has been undertaken without a hitch and it is working extremely well. It displays the level of technology to which Advansys can work currently.”

The work in Bulgaria actually meant the upgrade of all installed SlotScanner modules from various locations. The accounting and cage, player tracking and progressive functions are now united and the operator can control all of his venues from one location.

Equally, a single player can use his player tracking card in each of the connected casinos with progressive levels accumulating from each location and every connected machine.

Again in the same timescale, Advansys has completed two more installations in Montenegro. The SlotScanner accounting and cage functions are now monitoring slot machine performance and supporting casino managers in Casino Lutrija and Casino Maestral. Casino Cattaro has been running SlotScanner’s online system since 2006 and was the first casino in Montenegro to use such a system.

Casino Maestral has also bought the ticketing and money tracking system for its Aristocrat, Atronic and WMS slots and its ICIT and Gold Club electronic roulettes.

Casino Lutrija linked SlotScanner’s mystery jackpot system to 51 machines and an electronic roulette, all on Novomatic products. Now slots from different parts of the location are linked into one single progressive system and the electronic roulettes on another.

The Slovenian company has taken a very prominent position within the international community as a supplier of high quality, high-end support technology for casinos.

The progress it has made in a comparatively short time is testimony to the reputation it has gathered among operators and the flexibility of its system.
