Last week's Surexpo trade show in Warsaw, Poland, was something of a gamble for Edvins Lobinsh, managing director of CTC Holdings, the well-known Latvian-based supplier of roulette wheels, gaming tables, chairs, layouts and other equipment for casinos.
In the event, he pronounced himself “a little disappointed” with the first day of the show, which he accepted was principally a street market event. “That was why I brought mainly low-cost casino seating, as I know there are many slots arcades here. Taking space here was an experiment.”
