PHL Local Gaming is to step up its efforts to secure a licence to operate a casino in Philadelphia, US, by hosting a tour of the proposed site and unveiling its latest plans.

On Tuesday, the company, which is one of six bidding for the licence, is inviting the media to the 25-acre Procacci Brothers Sales Corporation site upon which its $428m Casino Revolution property would be situated.

Company officials will then present a floor plan of the existing structure and new architectural renderings of the proposed gaming property. They will also set out details of how, if the company is successful, it will create 600 new jobs and $52m in state and municipal revenues six months earlier than its five competitors.

PHL is proposing a casino that features 2,400 slots and 105 table games.

The other licence applicants are Tower Entertainment, Stadium Casino, Market East Associates, PA Gaming Ventures and Wynn PA.
