OKTO has expanded the reach of its real-time cash-to-digital closed loop payment service to the Indian market.

OKTO.CASH is now available to merchants in India to offer cash-to-digital payments across the country, with a focus on small cities.
The company has already signed up its first client in India, with more set to follow throughout the rest of 2024.
Indeed, while OKTO.CASH is currently live at over 100,000 retail points, the company wants that number to hit 500,000 by the end of the year.
OKTO’s chief distribution officer Björn Katerbau (pictured) said the Indian expansion aligns with the business’ ethos of “being a last-mile expert and helping online merchants acquire new consumers.”
OKTO has a team based in India to support OKTO.CASH’s roll-out there.
