One US state is reopening some of its businesses as from today, although it is not yet known whether these will include casinos.

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has announced that certain undertakings, including hair salons, spas, nail salons and pet groomers can begin as of today, but a more general opening of businesses that may include casinos, although they are not specifically mentioned, would begin on May 1.

From that date, "non-essential" businesses may open as long as they adhere to social distancing and sanitation recommendations. Specifically mentioned are churches, restaurants, movie theatres, gymnasiums and venues for sporting events, with some stipulations. Industry observers are taking this as a cue to reopen gaming venues.
