The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has shared its October finances, revealing a 7.3 per cent year-on-year rise in revenue for the month at US$483.01m.
The figure encompasses all forms of gaming, including fantasy contests. Retail slots brough in the biggest total at around $192.5m, with igaming slot revenue following behind at just over $109.8m.
The total sports wagering handle set a new monthly record at $829,002,595, a four per cent increase over the previous month’s total which was also the previous record.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is tasked with overseeing all aspects of gambling involving 17 land-based casinos, online casino games, retail and online sports wagering and video gaming terminals at qualified truck stops, along with the regulation of online fantasy sports contests.
