The New Zealand Gaming Expo will be held at the Christchurch Convention Centre in 2009, according to the Australasian Gaming Machine Manufacturers Association.
"After three successful annual events in Auckland, our board felt that the time is now right to shift the focus for this national expo to another major centre in New Zealand," said AGMMA CEO, Ross Ferrar.
"The Christchurch Convention Centre is a superb facility for this type of event and is supplemented by great accommodation and hospitality facilities nearby.
"The last few gaming expos have showcased the best available equipment at top-drawer trade exhibitions, along with gaming conferences addressed by memorable presenters who really left their mark on the audience.
"And as a special bonus for New Zealand’s gaming executives, entry to the conference as well as the exhibition will be complimentary for bona fide representatives of gaming industry organisations."
